Primary Responsibilities: Access the County of San Diegos Electronic Health Record (EHR) System to conduct data entry of confidential client/patient information Serve as a central contact for inpatient, crisis stabilization unit and crisis house bed availability Process and track inpatient authorization requests within the establish turnaround time Distribute appropriate clinical work products to clinicians for processing Manage ongoing updates in Find Resource, the designated database for referrals Scheduler: generate, disseminate IEX schedules and update internal schedule matrix Record non-routine disclosures in the designated database Download and disseminate monthly satisfaction survey results to leadership team Perform other routine clerical tasks : scan, facsimile, photocopy, file and/or purge documents Efficiently answer incoming calls and provide courteous service to all customers Operate a variety of standard office machines and computer software Effectively respond to verbal requests and written instructions in a timely manner Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, manager Assistance to ACL clinicians as needed with overall direction from ACL Afterhours Supervisor Other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED (or higher) 2+ years of Customer Service experience analyzing and solving customer problems 2+ years of data experience in Administrative or Clerical Support role Ability to create, edit, save, send documents utilizing Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Ability to type 50- 60 WPM, accurately Ability to gain and maintain access to the County of San Diego's Electronic Health Record Ability to work 5 PM to 1:30 AM, various days during the week as needed, 32 hours per week Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (or higher) Experience working within the Healthcare Industry or Healthcare Insurance Experience working in a Hospital, Physician's Office or Medical Clinical setting Experience working in a Call Center environment Soft Skills: Experience handling confidential client/patient information Must be able to navigate a PC to open multiple applications, send emails, and conduct data entry Ability to work with multiple screens and applications at one time Careers with Optum .
