  • Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Determine promise dates for incoming customer order receipts, within established capacity constraints, and communicate them to Customer Service
    • Develop, maintain, and communicate weekly production plans, that provide optimal service to internal and external customers, to manufacturing schedulers responsible for multiple value streams
    • Monitor and measure schedule adherence and manage job orders to maximize customer service, driving optimal on-time in-full performance
    • Ensure schedulers are driving appropriate interventions to resolve past-due, trending past-due, and other at-risk orders
    • Collaborate with the Operations team to develop mutually-supportive KPIs promoting plant productivity improvement, schedule attainment and adherence, and service goals
    • Recognize problems influencing or affected by the supply and production planning domains, analyze to determine root causes and recommend solutions as able, and escalate as needed
    • Prioritize and performs assignments independently to satisfy required timelines, providing periodic updates and feedback to stakeholders and managers
    • Demonstrate diplomacy, judgment, and tact in dealing with internal and external customers and all levels of company employees

  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Minimum two years planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing MRP/ERP tools
    • Highly proficient in managing and analyzing data in Excel; complex pivot tables & reporting, power query, advanced charting, data analysis
    • Understanding of capacity planning, production smoothing, identifying and managing production constraints
    • Familiarity with planning and scheduling policies and procedures
    • Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts
    • Advanced Excel skills; filtering and sorting, INDEX-MATCH functions, multi-axis charting, pivot tables
    • Knowledge of general business principles
    • Minimum of High School diploma/GED

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline, or working towards a degree
    • Certified in production and inventory management or supply chain management; APICS CPIM, CSCP, or ISM CPSM
    • Lean/six sigma green belt or higher
