About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join a high-quality healthcare team on the day shift. This role is ideal for a patient-focused professional who takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and providing an excellent patient experience. You’ll play a critical role in supporting timely and accurate diagnostic testing while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages
Properly identify, label, and process specimens according to established protocols
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the collection process
Prepare specimens for transport or in-house testing
Maintain accurate documentation in the laboratory information system
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
Assist with inventory management and maintain phlebotomy supplies
Support overall laboratory workflow and quality initiatives
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Phlebotomy certification preferred (CPT, NHA, ASCP, or equivalent)
Prior phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred
Strong knowledge of specimen handling and collection techniques
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
