HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

This project based internship prepares participants for future roles within procurement through a combination of assignments, structured learning, formalized feedback, and mentoring. Program participants will have the opportunity to work with senior procurement leaders and participate in various key procurement initiatives!

Program participants work during the summer for a 10-12 week learning experience. As part of the intern program, candidates may work in CA, MA, or NC, etc. Geographic flexibility is required both during the internship.

The Procurement Internship program affords participants an outstanding chance to create results, quickly gain credibility and develop a strong company network over 10-12 weeks.

Internship Assignments may include projects in:

• Sourcing Data Analyst

• Procurement Excellence

• Supplier Development Engineer

• Sourcing Category Leader

• Buyer

• Indirect Category Management

• Direct Category Management

• Supplier Risk Management

HOW WILL YOU GET HERE?

EDUCATION

• A student actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; preferred majors: Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management or other related or prior military experience as a Junior Military Officer

• GPA of 3.2 or greater

EXPERIENCE

• Related work or internship experience helpful

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Strong desire and motivation to develop a career as a future leader in Procurement or Operations

• Strong leadership and team-building skills

• Strong analytical skills

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction
