SUMMARY OF INTERNSHIP

Internship positions provide an opportunity for business, engineering and science students to get hands on experience in a marketing and sales environment.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Product Management

• Product Marketing

CRUCIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist with life cycle management of the existing product portfolio. Responsibilities include product data management and SKU discontinuations.

• Perform ad hoc analysis and compile data for various performance metrics.

• Work collaboratively with other product managers and key functional partners across the Thermo Fisher organization

• Participates in new service development teams, assist in customer & service requirements and launch deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited Bachelor's degree in a related science, life science or engineering field

• PREFERRED MAJORS: Business Management, Business Marketing, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering or other related major

• Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in Product Management

• Strong leadership and team building skills

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team

• Ability to learn, be mentored, and improve

• Outstanding customer focus

• Previous industrial experience is helpful

• Experience with handling databases is a plus

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerBI system is preferred

• Accuracy and attention to detail is required in performing all functions of this position.

• Excellent written and oral communications skills are required.
