We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures. You will focus on learning how our organization runs, and can be expected to gain valuable insight that can further your interest in your chosen career field.

    Essential Functions

    • Measure process outputs and compare against given specifications
    • Maintain daily quality documentation
    • Collect data and perform statistical analysis to determine process capabilities
    • Execute experiments to make process improvements
    • Report findings to the management team
    • Special projects and other duties as assigned
    • Attend meetings and take minutes, type documents, drafts, reports, sort and manage files
    • Perform research at supervisor’s request
    • Data entry
    • Shadow multiple Quality positions and train in a variety of tasks
    • Learn the in’s and out’s of quality control

  • Qualifications
    • Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in Engineering
    • Process Safety, Design or Engineering courses
  • Desired skills
    • Proficiency in Autocad a plus
    • Experience with or knowledge of risk assessments
    • Process simulation and dispersion modelling software knowledge a plus
    • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
    • Problem solving skills
    • Teamwork
