Lighthouse Lab Services is partnering with a well-established independent testing laboratory that has built a reputation over 25 years for delivering reliable, accurate, and timely analysis of fire sprinklers, firefighting foams, antifreeze solutions, and dry chemical agents. Their work supports building owners and safety professionals in meeting inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) requirements, ensuring critical fire protection systems remain dependable.

We are currently seeking a Receiving/Data Entry Associate to support the lab’s daily operations. This position plays a key role in preparing samples for testing by accurately managing incoming materials and entering essential data into the system.

Responsibilities

• Receive and open sample kits, bottles, and sprinklers for processing

• Accurately input customer and sample information into the database

• Organize and document samples, including photographing and taping sprinklers when needed

• Send email confirmations to customers to ensure clear communication

• Work collaboratively within a motivated, high-performing team environment

• Maintain strong output and accuracy standards across all tasks

Qualifications

• Prior data entry or receiving experience preferred

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook required; Access a plus)

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize customer service in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with ISO quality systems helpful but not required

• Strong communication skills with a positive, team-oriented mindset

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM CST

• Pay: $20/hr
