    Information Technology Internship New - Durham, North Carolina, United States, RTI Headquarters (RTP Area) - Intern - G&A Information Technology Services - - 180HS - Internship Description HR Directions seeks a candidate for its client, RTI International, for an Informational Technology Internship opening for the upcoming months of July 2018 - August 2018 within the Information Technology Services group. This internship will provide the successful prospect a mentored learning experience, and the opportunity to expand his/her classroom knowledge and skills within a professional setting. This opportunity will provide the selected intern with a thorough understanding of the kinds of ITS functions and Enterprise Systems that RTI uses to support their business units and clients. This internship has been designed to help the selected intern investigate career opportunities in the IT industry. The selected intern will: - Develop skills vitally important in today's business environment including team-based interaction, the ability to manage outcomes without having direct authority over others, and the capability to aid in the definition and the direction of IT initiatives. - Learn about and become familiar with day-to-day operations of the ITS organization through hands-on learning and mentoring. - Participate in shadowing ITS professionals. - Attend meetings. - Work on project planning through collaboration. - Use computer skills to contribute to various projects. Additional Information This paid internship, located in our Research Triangle Park main campus location will begin in July 2018 through August 2018. The internship requires a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
