    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    YOU WILL BE LEADING A TEAM OF 25+ REMOTE INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVES WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELLING A BROAD RANGE OF EVENTS AND PRODUCTS TO CLIENTS AT EVERY PHASE OF THEIR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL TRANSFORMATION JOURNEY.You'll know you're a great fit for this role if you're managing a successful and sizable inside sales team today with a proven track record of running successful meetings and trainings while exceeding targets in a high-growth business environment. To achieve this, you're likely leveraging an advanced sales tech stack while implementing sales enablement and training to deliver these oversized results in an efficient manner. You'll also have the knowledge on what a successful sales organization at a $100m+ company looks like as well as the execution chops to implement this vision.

    • Work with the Director of Live Event Sales to develop sales strategies and business plans that ensure we attain our sales goals and profitability targets
    • Take ownership of managing the sales team's pipeline, including implementing process improvements to shorten the sales cycle and increase the close rate
    • Consistently track and report on sales metrics to ensure adherence to established sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    • Manage sales team's growth by recruiting and retaining top tier inside sales talent via recruitment, performance management, and goal attainment
    • Lead the go-to-market planning and execution for ongoing inbound lead flow and outbound selling campaigns
    • Ensure alignment across the sales team through proper organization, process management, and allocation of resources to support growth and conversion
    • Implement best of breed sales process and strategy programs to nurture total lifetime value (LTV/CLV) of the client
    • Have a direct coaching relationship with a group of skilled sales professionals that encourages constant improvement through training and results
    • Lead the business partnership with the Marketing Manager to capitalize on high dollar value lead flow

    EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • 10+ years proven experience managing a successful inside sales team of at least 20+ inside sales representatives
    • 5+ years of experience managing in the live events and/or personal development industries
    • Experience working with a sales tech stack Salesforce, Refract, RingDNA, Salesloft, Outreach, or similar
    • Background working in a medium-sized company that is large enough to generate complexity but small enough to require a hand-on approach
    • Direct selling experience

    PHYSICAL AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
    • Expected to maintain standard business hours consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, plus additional hours required to meet the objectives of the position in accordance with an Exempt Salaried Employment Status
    • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Initial onboarding may require more frequent travel to San Diego HQ as you ramp up this position, then progressing to periodic travel to San Diego Corporate HQ as well as US-based events
