Lighthouse Lab Services is excited to represent a laboratory in Louisville, Kentucky that is looking for a Clinical Technical Supervisor to add to their growing team!

Position Overview:

• Manages technical staff schedules, ensuring compliance with scheduling policies and practices.
• Supervises staff, assigning work, monitoring activities, and evaluating performance.
• Communicates with other departments to coordinate and resolve issues as needed.
• Ensures troubleshooting of instrumentation and test systems is performed and that remedial actions are taken before patient results are reported.
• Actively participates in Performance Improvement initiatives
• Utilizes the Performance Improvement process to improve services.
• Demonstrates a commitment to continue self-development in leadership skills and scientific knowledge by attending professional development programs and technical lectures.
• Prepares and conducts fair, comprehensive, and timely probationary period and annual performance evaluations
• Recommends fair and consistent salary adjustments to the Technical Services Manager.
• Conducts regularly scheduled laboratory meetings and distributes minutes within 2 weeks of meeting.
• Demonstrates proficient use of the Laboratory Information System.

Basic Preferred Profile:?

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or similar.
  
• 4+ years of clinical laboratory supervisory experience
  
• ASCP certification highly preferred
  
• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution
  
• Have at least 4 years of laboratory training or experience, or both, in high complexity testing within the specialty with a minimum of 6 months experience in high complexity testing within the subspecialty.
  
  

Salary/Benefits/Shift:

• Monday-Friday, 5am-1:30pm 
• $102,000 - $132,000
• Medical, Vision, Dental
• PTO/VACATION/401K
