THE OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking highly motivated Journeyman Electrician for our manufacturing operations maintenance team. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for providing power to the machines, preventive maintenance, trouble shooting, and repairs for any electrical problems within the plant.  The electrician is responsible for all phases of trouble shooting any electrical problems within the facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Performs preventive maintenance on various equipment and machines, HVAC Eq., backup generator, transformers and switch gear, compressors, and electrical infrastructure.
• All high work, such as overhead lighting or newer construction areas.
• Some work may require a 10-12 ' ladder, but most work is done from the floor or a power lift.
• Requires assuming many different positions: squat, kneel, stand, bend, lying on floor
• Requires carrying a tool belt and wire spools (#10 wires - 20.6#; #12 wires - 13#). Any spools heavier than that, they cut the length of the wire needed as opposed to lifting the whole spool.
