Job Description

Job Duties:

• Manage, develop, and deploy systems and technologies in cloud architectures: both AWS and Azure.
• Manage Cloud Migration or Data Center Migration Projects
• Scripting using industry standard best practices in PowerShell, Bash, Python, JSON, Ruby.
• Manage code and code deployments with GIT, Jenkins, chef, puppet, Ansible and Ansible Tower.
• Work with Container technologies like Docker and AWS ECS
• Architect or deploy Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise environment.
• Design highly available, cost efficient, and scalable compute systems
• Develop and maintain O/S infrastructure documentation including architecture diagrams, metrics, and operating procedures.
• Responsible for recommending and implementing O/S Platform standards and administration best practices.
• Investigate, resolve and implement process improvements to existing systems and associated procedures.
• Enforce company’s infrastructure architecture standards and policies to maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility.
• Ability to work in a team structure, make decisions, solve problems, communicate inside & outside the organization, and analyze, plan, organize and prioritize work

• Participate in Agile methodologies and other industry best practices

Education

• Working and troubleshooting experience in the following areas: Windows, VMware, Citrix, VDI, Linux, Solaris, patching solutions, scripting, various tools, clustering (Windows, VCS, ASM), and automation, supporting a large enterprise environment
• Cloud and automation technologies Ansible, Jira, Stash, Confluence

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Ability to script and automate with Python, Java, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
