SOURCING DATA ANALYST INTERN

We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of our daily routines and procedures. You will focus on learning how our organization runs, and can be expected to gain valuable insight that can further your interest in your chosen career field.

SUMMARY OF INTERNSHIP

Internship positions provide an opportunity for business students to get hands on experience. This intern will be responsible for:

• Supporting projects on integrating multiple ERP's into central reporting dashboard
• Monthly/Quarterly reporting the Sourcing Metrics.
• Procurement metrics data integrity and alignment.
• Risk Management Tool support; identifying top revenue risk suppliers entering them into the Enterprise tool.
• Support on refining the spend data to align the correct commodity category for items and suppliers.
• Daily meeting reviewing sourcing with sites/business/commodity leads for alignment with different phases in the projects and data integrity of the tracking system.
• Fill in reporting for sites that do not have the resources to review the monthly metrics and reporting on behalf of them.
• Reviewing the Data Integrity of the Sourcing Dashboard, resolving issues with IT and the sites to improve the accuracy.
• Taking the KPI's, understand the drivers and identifying opportunities within them.
• Constant review of the TAMR database to help the AI learn to align commodities.
• Supporting spend analysis for sites/businesses/commodity leads to get useful information to help drive the right initiatives.
• Creating standard work on the process for monthly reporting, how to get the information, how to validate and resolution on discrepancies.

• Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering, science or life science discipline
  • PREFERRED MAJORS: Business Administration, Procurement & Data Analytics
• Strong leadership and team building skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
• Willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve
• Exceptional customer focus
• Accuracy and attention to detail is required in performing all functions of this position.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills are required.
