• Applications Development Engineers work on dynamic, interdisciplinary teams throughout the R&D lifecycle to ensure that the customers needs are understood by the organization and are being met by the product

  • At product conception we work closely with marketing to understand the customers challenges and help develop solutions.

  • In early development we work with R&D on proof-of-concept studies on prototype equipment to validate product ideas.

  • In late development we work to validate the final product performance and plan for beta rollout to select customers.

  • As the product is rolled out we work with Field Apps, Operations, and Service to transfer knowledge to the day-to-day support.

• We support TEM, SEM, Ga+ FIB, and PFIB applications in different parts of the Semiconductor market

• We have a highly collaborative culture and respect each others’ contributions to the team

• We work hard with ambiguous and shifting customer requirements and expectations

• Our team members have backgrounds in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, and Semiconductor Engineering
