Global Partnerships (GP) researches, develops, and implements strategic programs and forges innovative partnerships. We look for commercial applications for new technologies in artificial intelligence, speech technology, computer vision, cybersecurity, robotics, materials, biotech and education. Finding new opportunities to deliver robust and scalable solutions is fundamental to the future growth of SRIs technology licensing revenue stream and new venture creation. You will collaborate with talented engineers and researchers in a fast paced environment on a set of diverse projects. Responsibilities: * Gain in-depth insight into existing and potential applications, use cases, customers and markets. You will play a key role in analyzing, managing, and communicating this insight to researchers and executives within SRI. * Monitor, summarize, and communicate secondary research relevant to SRIs technical capabilities and solutions. * Develop a deep understanding of our potential partners and competitors in order to monitor potential risks and opportunities in various market segments. * Respond to executive requests for additional information or special analyses. * Develop a strong working relationship with various groups within SRI to better understand how GP can better help them succeed at translating our solutions to the commercial marketplace. * Enrollment in a technical bachelors or Masters, or Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program. * A keen analytical and strategic mind that is able to absorb large amounts and varied sources of data, while having the capability to see beyond the data to provide intellectual insight into technical, market and consumer dynamics. * Strong competitive analytical skills * Experience with data access, manipulation, and report generation tools (SQL, SPSS, Excel, etc.) * Experience using consumer research * Strong understanding of technical, demographic and economic trends and how they potentially impact markets
