Oracle Applications Analyst The Stowers Institue has an opening for an individual to work with accounting, benefits, payroll and procurement to design, develop, and maintain Oracle EBS R12 applications to support strategic and financial initiatives. Responsibilities include working as a liaison between business users and technical team in the daily support of Oracle R12 applications; working closely with business users to understand business processes and requirements; troubleshooting and resolving application issues; creating and performing functional testing of all system defects and enhancements; developing custom ad-hoc reports using reporting tools; and consulting with Oracle Support to take full advantage of the system. In addition to outstanding communication skills, strong problem-solving ability, and effective project leadership, the successful candidate will have functional and technical experience in designing and testing EBS application solutions for multiple modules, the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously; as well as the ability to work with business users and IT to transform business requirements into state-of-the-art applications in a team-oriented environment. Minimum requirements include an undergraduate degree in business, computer science, or a field related to the position and at least two years experience in applications support for Oracle EBS modules (PeopleSoft or similar experience will be considered). Knowledge and experience with SQL would be beneficial.
