Job Description
The Regional Business Manager has both direct and indirect buying account and broker management responsibilities in a region, which is usually multiple states, major metropolitan areas and/or strategically important markets. This position does not have any supervisory duties relating to direct resources. Accounts and brokers are managed as assigned to ensure compliance with corporate objectives and directives. The Regional Business Manager is expected to be minimally supervised, possess superior organization and planning skills, have incredible energy, show the ability to understand priorities and execute business functions communicated to them by their Manager.

Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Sales or a business related field or equivalent education and experience.
RELATED EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years Foodservice experience.
EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE SKILLS: Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Driver’s License.
Additional Information
PHYSICAL: Must be able to fly/drive to markets. No major exceptional physical requirements.
SENSORY: Speech, Hearing, Vision, Smell, and Touch This position must be able to respond orally and in writing to common inquiries and complaints from customers and members of the business community. The position must be able to effectively present information to groups, individual customers and associates from the top levels of management to the smallest of operators. The position must be able to listen effectively in order to understand and respond accordingly. The position must be able to smell and touch to work effectively in supporting evaluation of customer food initiatives and quality measurements.
MENTAL/REASONING: Must be able to handle diversity of tasks and manage them effectively. Sending written correspondence to all interfacing aspects is critical to success.
