    Job Description

    The Regulatory Analyst supports all business units with regulatory information by keeping aware of Federal, State and local regulations, pertaining to Stratas’ business.  Additionally the Regulatory Analyst manages/drives complaint resolution across all consumer complaints. The Regulatory Analyst's responsibilities also include completion of all customers’ surveys and questionnaires, and review/approval of all labels.  Also, the Regulatory Analyst manages customer websites which includes ICIX.

    ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    1.       Works with Regulatory Supervisor on product data sheet development, ingredient statements for labels and any other regulatory documentation.

    2.       Works alongside of the Regulatory Supervisor to assist completion of regulatory documents, i.e., Certificates of Origin, Non GMO, Continuing Guarantee, NAFTA.

    3.       Supports regulatory compliance in providing interpretation of Food Regulations as they apply to finished products.  Monitors federal/state regulations to assure all products comply with applicable standards.  Assists with inquiries from internal and external customers.

    4.       With guidance of Regulatory Supervisor, supports label designs and approvals for all Stratas products including co-packed products and works with customers, graphic designers, sales and marketing to develop these labels according to current food labeling regulations.  This includes determining ingredient statements and nutritional for new labels.

    5.        Issues regulatory documents to Sales/Marketing, Customer Service and Customers.

    6.       Helps maintain regulatory documents and statement letters, i.e.; Certificates of Origin, GMO, and Prop 65.  Keeps file in Policy Tech updated. 

    7.       Maintain and revise Product Data Sheets in Policy Tech.

    8.       Help manage consumer complaints and provides formal complaint back to consumer when necessary.

    9.       Perform special assignments when needed.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree related degree preferred; or relevant experience.  

    RELATED EXPERIENCE: Three to five years of relevant experience.

    EQUIPMENT/SOFTWARE SKILLS:  CRT skilled, Basic knowledge of MS Office applications: Word, Excel.  Voicemail phone systems, fax, printers, etc.

    Additional Information

    PHYSICAL:  Typing and manual dexterity required. Movement back and forth between printers and other office equipment.  Lifting of up to 25 lbs.

    SENSORY: Heavy telephone and email volume.  Must have excellent diction to respond to call and excellent hearing in order to understand and respond to issues or request.  Must have excellent written communications skills.

    MENTAL/REASONING: Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Good organizational skills with strong discipline and work ethic. Dependable.  Ability to multi task and work under pressure while managing obstacles such as time constraints and prioritize work load appropriately.  Must work well with other under little supervision.
