The Software Engineering Intern will work on projects in Digital Science relating to our software products that are used by pharmaceutical customers worldwide. These solutions help customers advance science, become more efficient, and improve their bottom lines. Our offerings shape the lab of the future, by accelerating innovation and driving productivity. In short, it's our goal to make labs work the way laypeople think they do, with cloud-connected, instantaneous information, available seamlessly to scientists across the lab.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Software engineering interns are given a short-term project to design and build a software component that will provide value in one of our products. This component will leverage multiple technologies and the intern will be expected to create, test and document their solution, as well as brief the software team at the end of the implementation. The intern will need to be a self-starter, with the ability to work without constant oversight, but will be expected to provide regular progress updates.

REQUIREMENTS

• Rising Senior majoring in software-related discipline (exceptional rising juniors may be considered)
• Working knowledge of C# or Java
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and its popular open-source libraries
• Web development
