Graphic Design Internship T1D Exchange - Boston, MA Full-time, Internship T1D Exchange is an innovative nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating therapies and solutions for type 1 diabetes. We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic junior graphic design intern with experience in both print and electronic media. If you are a skilled designer who enjoys independent work, as well as group collaboration, you will enjoy this career-building opportunity. We work in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal junior graphic design intern will be able to take direction, hit the ground running and work well with the marketing team. Applicants with experience working with nonprofits and/or the healthcare sector will be given prime consideration. This part or full-time opportunity is based in the Downtown Crossing area of Boston. Roles and Responsibilities include: The intern will assist with a variety of ongoing tasks to create communication pieces that follow brand guideline specified format, but not limited to: * Fact sheets * Brochures * Presentations * Infographics

• Direct mail collateral * Banners and event collateral * Exhibition booths * Social media content Basic Qualifications: * 2 years Graphic design experience * Working toward BFA or other relevant field of study
• Self-starter and strong aesthetic standards * Knowledge of email marketing is a plus * Familiarity with promotional design * Comfortable working in common design Adobe Creative Suite programs: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator * Must be able to work swiftly in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word * Solid knowledge of brand communication and digital marketing * Strong ability to follow through with tasks with a willingness to deal with multiple projects of varying scope * Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong ability to follow through with tasks * Excellent communication skills, both oral and written This is an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to make a clear and immediate impact.
