JOB DESCRIPTION:

Apply your strong technology and financial management expertise to the deployment of Apptio's Technology Business Management (TBM) solutions. With your knowledge and skills, you will position IS/IT leadership and business owners to understand the ROI of technology investments and the TCO of applications, products, and services.

The ability to develop and maintain strong business partner relationships and foster a culture of data-driven decision making is critical in this role. You will also play an important role in driving the continuous improvement of data modeling and allocation methodologies while leading quality management initiatives with data owners.

This role will give you the opportunity to socialize an in-depth understanding of Apptio configurations, models, and data. In this role you will evaluate current state against the Apptio future state and be able to defend the underlying allocations

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•      Create and refine functional and business specifications used by the development team to maintain the automation of data into Apptio.

•         Understanding the mapping of external interfaces from many systems of record for monthly data loads, perform validation and reconciliation to ensure data integrity for client invoicing.

•         Maintain complex cost models within the Apptio tool.

•         Test and document deliverables and promote deliverables into production adhering to the organizations procedures and guidelines for production systems

•         Work to support and enhance the Apptio implementation

•         Understanding of ITSM.

•         Understanding the business value achieved as part of S&P's cost model enhancements to adequately communicate business impact avoided or remediated via implementation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

•         3 - 7 years progressive Finance, Accounting Information Systems, BI or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.

•         Knowledge of IT Services and Financial Management Practices such as budgeting, cost allocations, capital and operating expense handling, and product or capability-driven funding models.

•         Advanced level proficiency in with Apptio, Oracle Financials ERP, Microsoft Excel, data-warehouse analysis, PowerPoint, and Tableau.

•         Proven ability to demonstrate leadership through influence and lead change management efforts.

•         Proven ability to formulate a strategic vision, define and implement action plans to achieve strategic goals.

•         Strong business and process knowledge, technology implementation, change management and large-scale program management.

•         Strong understanding of financial planning and budgeting

•         Understanding of IT infrastructure domains and application development

•         Have a strong bias towards curiosity, analytics and problem solving with the ability to synthesize an array of inputs into coherent solution strategies.

•         Self-directed and capable of managing collaboratively; express ideas clearly and persuasively in oral, written, and presentation forms. Strong ability to influence.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•         MBA

•         ITIL Certification

•         Technology Business Management Certification, CTBME.

•         Elite or Recognized Technology Business Management Analyst (ETBMA or RTBMA) or TBMA

•         Prior experience with TBM or CIO advisory work

•         Experience at a top-tier consulting, financial services, or a technology-driven company
