TITLE: SR ACCOUNTANT-USD

DURATION: 4 MONTHS 

LOCATION: BELLEVUE WA

DESCRIPTION:

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for month-end close, including journal entries, bank and credit card reconciliation, balance sheet and G/L reconciliation and account analysis, fixed asset schedules, and preparation of financial statements. 
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and priorities for the accounting function. 
• Manage day-to-day finance transactional activities, e.g., A/P, A/R, collections, and cash applications. 
• Manage and review monthly customer billing. Direct and participate in cost analyses. Manage fiscal year-end, prepare external audit materials, and coordinate and communicate results with FP&A. 
• Review contracts for revenue recognition implications.
• Communicate summaries of accounting processes and/or findings to business owners and FP&A. Coordinate with both external and internal auditors to complete financial audits and strengthen internal controls.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Focus is on more complex accounts and transactions that require a greater degree of judgment and problem-solving skills to reconcile or process.
• Routine processes take no more than 50% of regular time. 
• Ability to work directly with business partners, and run meetings independently.
