    OVERVIEW:   

    Tek Wissen Group is a workforce management provider throughout the USA and many other countries in the world. Our client is an American multinational conglomerate corporation operating in the fields of industry, worker safety, health care, and consumer goods.   

    POSITION OVERVIEW: 

    • This position is being set up to provide support for the (MSD) Medical Solutions Division (GLVS) Global Lean Value Streams Supply Chain and other duties. 
    • In this role, the Supply Chain position will conduct routine, daily, and weekly activities under the review of the lead analyst. 
    • The tasks will primarily focus on production reporting, service reporting, purchasing, and inventory tracking, but can be varied as needed upon direction from the reporting supervisor.

     

      POSITION DUTIES: 

    • Perform purchasing activities for ongoing and new project work.
    • Input the daily and weekly production reports for the MSD Pilot Plant and Outsourced Manufacturers. 
    • The task will require training and access to appropriate systems. 
    • The input and output of materials across diverse product lines is an important task to assure inventory accuracy. 
    • A rolling inventory balance should be provided based upon the reports and validated by an external tracking process. 
    • The tasks would require receival of information from plant/suppliers, confirming information in a timely manner, and assuring input into the system.
    • Following the input of production reports for the Pilot Plant, review the summary details to validate/update production rates.
    • This rate is used for planning purposes and would be communicated to the lead analyst.
    • Track order status and communicate with suppliers.
    • Coordinate outbound shipments and update the ERP systems.
    • Provide backup support to lead analyst for scheduling.
    • Create new reports, manage excel/ files, and help with various projects as assigned by the supervisor upon confirmation of the skills and training needed for successful task completion.

     

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Two or more years of education beyond High School.
    • Three or more years of work experience.
    • Strong aptitude with numbers, units of measure, material flow, and basic mathematical proficiency.
    • Fluency with Microsoft Office suite of software.

     

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • College education with a focus on business, supply chain, or mathematics.
    • Similar supply chain work experience.

     

    SOFT SKILLS: 

    • Ability to quickly learn business processes.

    • Strong verbal communication.

    • Able to manage multiple tasks at one time.

    • Prioritization skills.

    •  Initiative/Ability to work self-directed

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

    • Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within a workgroup. 

    • Worker to manage the global supply of critical raw materials.

    • Work with suppliers, and global the client planning team to optimize the supply of critical raw material items. 

    • Provide process support to division Sales and Operations Planning Processes.

    • Create demand plans. Analyze international supply plans. 

    • Manage key process indices. 

    • Provide data support to division planning teams. 

    • Manage reporting process for demand planning, order management, inventory management, and financial reporting. 

    • Ownership for global non-working inventory management process. 

    • Work with subsidiaries to identify NWI items. 

    • Identify disposition plans. 

    • Track progress.
