RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Reviews and updates PRODUCT SAFETY DATA SHEETS (SDSS).
• Uploads updated SDSs to Workfront.
• REVIEWS AND CALCULATES PRODUCT COMPOSITION FROM PRODUCT BOM.
• Responds to internal and external customer requests for SDSs.
• Collaborates with product safety manager and product labeling specialists on safety content on product labels.
• Reviews product labels in regards to safety data.
• ENSURE SAFETY AND OTHER REGULATORY INFORMATION is consistent amongst varies printed and electronic materials such as product labels, SDS, and instructions for use.
• Collaborates with others to obtain production composition information as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• PROFICIENT IN MS APPLICATIONS (EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK).
• DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE OF HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS either through education or experience.
• ASSOCIATES OR BACHELORS DEGREE IN CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY OR ENGINEERING.
• 2-3 YEARS OF HAZARD COMMUNICATION experience in the chemical industry preferred
• Recent grads with chemistry degree considered.
• EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH SDS AUTHORING SOFTWARE PREFERRED.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability and a positive attitude
• Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Creative, analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle critical timelines in a multi-task environment
