The Chemours Company headquartered in Wilmington, DE has a Summer Intern position available in Wilmington, DE.nbsp; This position will support research and development activities in the Titanium Technologies Business and will focus on the application development of coatings. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: * Lab synthesis of TiO2 grades, slurries and paints * Design of lab experiments * Analyzing research samples and comparing data from multiple sources * Analyzing data and building models * Performing literature searches, reading relevant scientific literature In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: * Currently pursuing a degree in chemistry or chemical engineering from an accredited university * Ability to quickly learn new analytical methods * A junior or senior at a four year college, or a graduate student * Attention to detail and pro-active willingness to learn new techniques and methods The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit: * Ability to work well in an active lab environment * Competency in Microsoft Office * Experience with Minitab * Experience designing experiments using a statistical approach (DOE) * Experience with paint making or testing Chemoursnbsp; is an equal opportunity employer.nbsp; Chemours is an E-Verify employer.
