Chemours is seeking a Safety amp; Occupational Health Intern to join our team at the Chambers Works Site in Deepwater, NJ.nbsp; This position will report to the Site Safety amp; Occupational Leader and will provide support to the Safety amp; Occupational Health and Process Safety Management Team.nbsp; The successful candidate will work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week from June-August 2019. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: * Supporting the Site Samp;OH and PSM Team through field audits and inspections * Performing Samp;OH and PSM program-specific activities * Participating in meetings, webinars, and conference calls * Developing presentations, spreadsheets, charts, and reports * Working with, maintaining, and sharing material on Microsoft SharePoint Sites * Managing assigned projects, tracking progress, and communicating with management as appropriate * Performing other duties as assigned To be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: * Current enrollment at an accredited university as a junior or above * Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and/or Environmental course work or experience * Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and attention to detail * Strong work ethic and positive outlook * Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel * Ability to work and manage time independently with minimal supervision * Eagerness and willingness to learn in a professional environment * Willing and able to complete the entire summer assignment The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit: * Previous Safety amp; OH internship or co-op experience in the chemicals industry * 3.5 GPA or above Benefits: * Competitive Compensation * Affordable Housing Assistance (for specific roles) * Learning amp; Development opportunities * Strong Inclusion amp; Diversity initiatives WERE CHEMOURS.
