This position will report directly to the Global End User Computing Manager in our Wilmington, Delaware location and will work a full-time schedule of 40 per week from May-August. As an Intern in our Information Technology Department, you will have the opportunity to be involved in providing top tier customer support to Chemours employees, contractors and partners.nbsp; The Desktop Support Technician Intern will gain a basic understanding of multiple IT systems, including PC, Network Infrastructure, Security and Applications. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: * Providing all levels of IT support utilizing multiple channels including phone, chat, email, walk-up support, and desk side visit * Providing technical support of computer hardware and software (inclusive of mobile phones) by diagnosing and resolving issues, performing upgrades, deploying new computers, and supporting inventory management responsibilities * Utilizing Easy Vista ticketing management system to manage new incidents, requests and inquiries * Utilizing IT Support operating procedures, global knowledgebase and process workflows * Creating training and education documentation, as well as educating employees on processes and procedures In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: * Current enrollment at an accredited university as a sophomore or above * Pursuing a degree in Computer and Information Technology, Management Information Systems and majors in a similar field of study will be considered * Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues * Excellent customer service skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task * Strong technical skills in the support of desktop/pcs and other employee peripherals inclusive of, but not limited to Office 365 Product Suite, Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 7/10) and Print Services The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit: * Previous internship or co-op experience in Information Technology * 3.0 GPA or above * Experience with SharePoint and/or Microsoft Teams Benefits: * Competitive Compensation * Affordable Housing Assistance (for specific roles) * Learning amp; Development opportunities * Strong Inclusion amp; Diversity initiatives WERE CHEMOURS.
