    WHO YOU ARE 

    As the Director of Student Communications and Success Technologies you are responsible for the successful planning and implementation of a strategic college-wide student communication plan that supports the colleges strategic plan, student success initiatives and enrollment services. Overall responsibilities include: working with the Student Affairs departments to plan, coordinate and implement college-wide student communications; developing and implementing strategic college-wide student communication plans; overseeing project teams related to student success technology; implementing student success technologies; tracking and reporting progress to stakeholders on student communication initiatives; supporting the college’s equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives; and supervising staff.

     

    You will need to be innovative, excellent at building relationships, self-motivated, and take initiative; as well as, have the ability to learn well on your own and be excellent at time management. You must have experience working within the Colorado Community College System (CCCS) at the system office or a college.

    SALARY: $58,000 - $60,000/annually 

     

    PRIMARY DUTIES: 

    • Lead the planning, goal/objective setting, implementation and evaluation of all college-wide student communication campaigns. Work closely with the Marketing department to align communications with internal and external messaging to students. Ensure communication campaigns are focused on equity, diversity and inclusive excellence.
    • Convene and lead a Student Communications team to develop, implement and continually improve the college-wide student communication strategy including members from across the college in Marketing, Advising, Student Life, Admissions and Outreach, and Deans.
    • Lead the planning, goal setting/objectives, implementation and evaluation of all Student Success Technologies related to both student information systems and student communication.
    • Develop, interpret and implement college-wide guidelines for all student success technologies and ensure compliance with Front Range Community College (FRCC) and Colorado Community College System (CCCS) operational guidelines.
    • Develop a plan of implementation for new student success technology.
    • Attend the Colorado Community College System functional area meetings related to student communications and student recruitment.
    • Collaborate with college leadership including campus vice presidents, deans of student affairs and directors.

    • ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS: Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and with changing demands.
    • PROBLEM SOLVING: Responsible for assessing outcomes of college-wide communication plan project charter.

     

    Required Experience

    REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & WORK EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree; and 5 years of progressive experience in leadership roles.
    • Experience working within the Colorado Community College System (CCCS) at the system office or a college.
    • Experience with technology systems such as Banner, Recruit, EAB Student Success Collaboration (Navigate) or other Student Information Systems (SIS).
    • Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.

     

    PREFERRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & WORK EXPERIENCE

    • Experience in technology implementations
    • Experience working with committees and departments within a large organization.
