    Job Description

    The Reliability Manager (Method and Reliability Leader) is responsible for ensuring that productivity is increased, costs are reduced, and profitability are improved by implementing effective maintenance strategies and machine methods.

    Manages and leads method, reliability teams in a continuous improvement process.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Manage the Machine method and reliability team:

    • Contribute to the establishment of the maintenance strategy, policy and development actions, and implement

    • Define areas of improvement of policy and strategy

    • Identify internal or external activities,

    • Define the organization, job profiles and responsibilities according to standards

    • Prepare the budget

    • Oversee the actions

    • Define, select, analyze, and communicate the relevant information

    • Provide internal human resources:

    • Manage jobs and skills, and recruit,

    • Ensure training and development

    • Provide resources to perform maintenance tasks

    • Coach and manage technicians (hierarchical)

    • Provide external services for the scope (preventive and curative maintenance, spare parts)

    • Identify competent external companies

    • Contract with external companies

    • Manage contracts and evaluate companies and services

    • Optimize the results:

    • Promote system in place

    • Analyze maintenance method, reliability, and spare parts KPIs

    • Identify the areas of improvement

    • Propose, lead or support improvement / transformation projects

    • Lead change as needed

    • Budget follow up:

    • Analyze real cost / expenses vs budget, explain and if applicable take corrective actions

    • Deliver maintenance requirements during item design and modifications:

    • Ensure communication and collaborate with IE department

    • Participate to relevant team meetings (see meeting map)

    • Ensure and improve the necessary maintenance means to maintain production tool operational (processes, methods and plans)

    • Improve item’s reliability, availability, safety and operating costs.

    • Define and deploy maintenance strategy

    • Implement the managerial practices of the Nemera Leadership Model on a day-to-day basis to build a favorable and positive environment, develop people and foster commitment, encourage cooperation at all levels, define the vision and stimulate performance.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or similar area of study strongly preferred

    • 8+ years of experience in Manufacturing preferably Maintenance Focus

    • 3 + years of experience in a Supervisory or leadership role

    Master the integrated management software and the CMMS

    • Knowledge in lean manufacturing, breakdown analysis and data analysis tools

    • Proven experience at relevant managerial role

    • Knowledge of the industry and relevant health, safety, and environment regulations

    • Trained and efficient in advanced problem solving
