Job Description

Position Purpose:

The position will be exposed to technical expertise in topics such as drinking water
production, distribution and treatment, wastewater conveyance and treatment, and
energy conservation and production.

This will be a four (4) month mission.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

• Executing various tasks related to functional projects, sustainable infrastructure development and environmental transformation.
• Participate in the development of engineering design, infrastructure condition assessment and/or modeling.
• Assist in research and/or the development of standard tools and processes for infrastructure assessment.
• Develop technical, bidding and contractual documents in accordance with engineering guidelines.
• Project management tasks.
• Support project and/or construction coordination and oversight to ensure timely completion of assignments, budget compliance, asset management documentation and adherence to applicable standards.
• Visit select project sites and observe existing operations.
• Assist Engineering team with project operation support tasks.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

• Student must be enrolled in a Civil engineering program, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient in written and spoken English.
