    Job Description

    Position Purpose:

    Coordinates and leads technical support for existing and new applications, software, and upgrades. Plans, designs, develops, and launches efficient business systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes using methodical investigation, analysis, review, and documentation in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. Responsible for ensuring quality enhancements to problem resolutions and database integrity. Configures systems for optimal end user support, including disaster recovery and scheduled downtime plans.

    Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Provide CMMS software system technical support per business requirements and asset management standards.
    • Support system implementations and use of CMMS and other applications; assisting in the definition of roll out, training and user support plans.
    • Participate in documenting business processes and workflows and their relationships to current and future solutions.
    • Interact with business users to fully understand requirements, conducting interviews with key project stakeholders and documenting and presenting the results.
    • Participate in audits for Internal Controls (Quarterly, as requested).
    • Support ad hoc reports for analysis of system usage, regulatory compliance, business management etc. (using Crystal Reports, Cognos or similar).
    • Support desk tickets for Asset Management applications: CMMS (WAM, JobPlus, Maximo, EAM), Infonet, and Optimas.
    • Participate in work with Asset Managers, technical analysts and/or consultants to convert the functional requirements into technical specifications.
    • Prepare system documentation.
    • Participate in, perform, and document in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
    • Analyze the impact of change requests.
    • Assist in assessing the impact to the customer for systems and process changes.
    • Support traceability from requirements through to QA; assisting in the definition of test plans and testing strategies and in the creation of test cases.
    • Participate in creating and/or reviewing manuals, procedures, and related user documentation; ensuring documentation is targeted to the appropriate audience.
    • Assist Asset Managers with specific training documentation for applications, both new and existing.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of standard procedures and best practices for system use.
    • Assist with internal IS&T teams and/or external technical consultants in projects requiring data integration and/or reporting.
    • Update project progress and keep it on track.
    • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction.
    • Assist in defining use cases to articulate new functional software needs and the roles of each class of application user.
    • Provide help desk support in terms of troubleshooting problems and issue resolution.
    • Provide business and technical guidance to consultants, partners, and internal teams.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience/Background:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
    • Years of Experience: 1-3 years of experience.

    • Some travel may be required.
