Position Purpose:

Performs maintenance services, installations, or repairs in one or more skill areas such as plumbing, mechanical, electrical repairs, pneumatic, hydraulic, installation, carpentry, painting, or vehicle servicing.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot mechanical devices and repair.
• Repair and/or replace functional parts of control instruments and mechanical devices and interpret instructions and diagrams in correcting existing problems.
• Maintain appropriate records of completed work performed and forwards logs along with findings to immediate supervisor.
• Notifies supervisor of needed parts and machinery.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

• High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
• Associate degree with an emphasis in Electrical/Mechanical skills preferred.
• Prior work experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong team player.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Time management skills: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines.

Required Certification/Licenses/Training:

• Driver’s license.
