    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Distribution marketing supports the distribution sales team, one of the primary revenue drivers for the company. The marketing department works on several different campaigns, some in partnership with our distributors to grow our collective businesses, some to pressure distributors to renew content deals, and others to get media exposure for our programming. This position serves as the FOX News Media brand point, supports the account team on all three of FOX's pillar brands (Fox Entertainment, Fox Sports, and Fox News), and assists the Vice President of Distribution Marketing.

    The Coordinator, Distribution Marketing will be responsible for distribution marketing with pay-TV providers (cable, telco, and streaming services) for FOX News Media by assisting with the branding and promotion of FOX News Channel, FOX Business Network, FOX Nation, and FOX Weather.

    A SNAPSHOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Asset approvals and fulfillment of partner requests, communicate key sales points, update affiliate website, source promotional items, and contribute to presentations
    • Manage local ad sales program by drafting e-communications, fulfilling reporting requests, and overseeing overall program maintenance (e.g., uploading promo spots to website)
    • Event planning and execution (e.g., studio tours)
    • Actualize budget with the finance team, onboard vendors and process invoices, work closely with VP and Director on budget forecasts and LRP
    • Coordinate meetings by gathering agenda items and overseeing meeting notes and recaps
    • Support the account team on FOX Entertainment, FOX Sports, and FOX News marketing initiatives.
    • Track promotional placements on partner platforms
    • Audit platforms for brand quality control to ensure accuracy of FOX networks' art and metadata
    • Manage tracking grids and fulfill premium requests
    • Assist the Vice President of Marketing with administrative duties
    • Executive admin support, including calendar management, travel arrangements, expense reports, phone coverage, and assisting with special projects (e.g., event planning), as needed

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED

    • College degree
    • 2-3 years of experience in sales and/or marketing, preferably in the video industry or telco-related
    • Ability to clearly communicate, present, and sell creative ideas both in formal and informal settings
    • Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize high volumes of assets
    • Proficient in Microsoft (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
    • Knowledge of pay-TV distribution and marketing/media industry a plus
