JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Sports NASCAR is looking for a Production Assistant to join their team in Charlotte, NC. As the Production Assistant, you will work under and support studio show Producers, Feature Producers, Associate Producers, and other staff in production of studio show. As the Production Assistant, you will view, log and edit tape elements for various studio shows.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• View, log, and edit normal highlight tapes for studio show
• Work under Producers in handling video needs for the show, digital group, and other platforms
• Cut stylized tapes for studio shows and use music, soundbites from players, and other elements to produce higher end tapes for the shows
• Handle day to day functions of production including the creation of links/dubs, shipping, music cue sheets, and coordination of various errands for the production needs of the department
• Work within the tape room with Senior Associate Producers to organize and communicate the edited tapes for the show with the control room staff

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Experience in sports studio show production and/or technical operations
• The ability to work in a fast paced sports production environment
• Knowledge of NASCAR
• Knowledge of Dalet, Content Pilot, iNews, and Adobe Premiere

• Bachelor's degree
