    As a student of the Supplier Quality Engineering team, you will be an active contributor to our Solar and Storage Solutions business. You will focus on tackling complex quality challenges, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and driving product reliability to ensure an exceptional experience for our customers.

    Job Description

    What you'll do (Job Responsibilities)

    • Support shop floor and field-level problem-solving efforts to address supplier-related quality issues, directly impacting product reliability and the overall customer experience.
    • Support the continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product performance, reducing field failures, and minimizing customer-facing quality issues.
    • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using structured methodologies to identify and eliminate failure modes that affect product longevity.
    • Collaborate with Solar and Storage engineering teams to implement design improvements that elevate product quality standards.
    • Analyze supplier performance and reliability data to identify trends that impact end-user satisfaction and drive targeted improvement plans.
    • Support the implementation of lean initiatives and process control optimizations to ensure high-quality, reliable energy storage systems.
    • Participate in cross-functional task forces dedicated to accelerating product improvement cycles and reliability benchmarks.
    • Document technical solutions and best practices to standardize quality improvements and ensure consistent, superior customer experience.

    What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)

    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering).
    • Demonstrated experience or strong academic interest in problem-solving methodologies and statistical data analysis.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for report generation and reliability trend tracking.
    • Strong analytical and communication skills to convey technical findings to diverse internal and external stakeholders.

    Eligibility Requirements

    • Must be able to work on-site at the facility full-time to support shop floor operations; this role does not involve travel.
    • Must be willing and able to work in a production or engineering lab environment, including exposure to noise and industrial equipment.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
