  • Responsibilities

    The Field Operations Manager (FOM) will lead a team of Samsung Experience Consultants who sell and evangelize Samsung products in one of the country's most well-known retailers. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective working relationship with the 2020 field sales team and Samsung management. The FOM role is critical to the overall success of the program as they provide coaching and mentorship across many levels within the organization. The FOM will travel to assigned markets on a regular basis and effectively implement sales and operational strategies to enhance overall field performance.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate activities of the field retail team along with regional client management to meet and/or exceed sales goals and objectives
    • Consistently hold each 2020 retail representative accountable for weekly and quarterly sales objectives
    • Hold field retail team accountable for region’s equipment, documentation and operations pertaining to sales activities
    • Successfully determine staffing requirements in accordance with client directives and provide suitable candidates for vacant territories
    • Ensure each market’s head count and reporting are true/correct
    • Routinely travel to each market
    • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures
    • Administer and document all counseling and terminations accurately and in a timely manner, while following established procedures
    • Perform all other duties as assigned

    Performance Measurements:

    • Ensure field retail team meets established weekly/monthly productivity goals/quota
    • Maintain proper headcount in assigned districts
    • Customer/client satisfaction based on candidate submission, field activity/objectives, and substantiated complaints
  • Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 5-8 years sales experience required
    • 3-5 years retail and sales management experience required
    • Extensive retail and/or direct sales management experience required
    • Exercise operational excellence and a high-level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
    • Superior leadership abilities with effective, professional communication and presentation skills
    • Proven ability to show good judgment and initiative, make decisions and problem solve
    • Capable to work autonomously with excellent time management skills
    • Must be able to travel 30% of the year to various markets across the US and work flexible hours
