    Primary Duties:

    • Execute Minuteman sales “Playbook” strategies & tactics
    • Accomplish S.M.A.R.T.* goals for field sales trips (*Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant & Time-Bound)
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly & yearly sales quota
    • Produce profitable year-over-year sales growth

    Leadership & performance management of manufacturers’ representatives to produce year-over-year sales growth in:

    • Data/Com distribution sales channel
    • Security distribution sales channel

    Personal accountability to produce year-over-year sales growth in:

    • Computer distribution sales channel
    • Electrical distribution sales channel

    Leverage manufacturers’ representatives & channel partners as a “Force Multiplier” & “Engagement Vehicle” to:

    • Discover & qualify sales opportunities
    • Create a preference/demand for “Minuteman” brand power protection products
    • Build, pursue, forecast and close a pipeline of high probability sales opportunities
    • Support marketing campaigns & trade shows

    Reporting:

    • Twice-a-month sales & marketing team meetings
    • Progress measurement of S.M.A.R.T. goals execution plan
    • Accurately-qualified & up-to-date status logs on high probability “Minuteman” project registrations
    • Minuteman channel partner sales performance dashboard
    • Monthly “Cadence Call” with manufacturer’s representatives
    • Performance assessments & commission reports for manufacturer’s representatives
    • Travel request forms
    • Trip reports
    • Expense reports
    • “Cloze” Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
    • Travel Requirements: 50% (two 1-week trips per month) plus assistance at trade shows as required
    • Office Work Days & Hours (When not traveling in assigned Region): M–F Generally 8AM–5PM – Minimum of 40-hours per week

    • Computer distribution & reseller sales channel (Distributors: Ingram Micro & Synnex)
    • Data/Com distribution & reseller sales channel (Distributors: Accu-Tech, Anixter, CSC & Graybar)
    • Electrical distribution & reseller sales channel (Distributors: Graybar, Rexel & WESCO)
    • Security distribution & reseller sales channel (Distributors: ADI & Anixter/Tri-Ed)

    Working knowledge of:

    • Basic electricity & power
    • IT equipment & networks
  • Compensation
    Base salary plus Pay-For-Performance (PFP) incentive plan - Base Salary: $50,000-year PFP Incentive Plan: - Minimum threshold for payout is 70% sales quota attainment - Commissions are paid on the 15th of every month based on sales results for previous month - Commission payout at 100% of sales quota = $23,250. Total compensation at: - 100% of sales quota attainment = $73,250 ($50,000+ $23,250) - 120% of sales quota attainment = $110,000 ($50,000+ $60,000) - PFP incentive plan is uncapped!

    • You will be eligible to participate in the company’s comprehensive benefit package (i.e. medical, dental, life, AD&D and long-term disability). Coverage will begin on the first of the month following your first thirty (30) days of employment. Details of the plans and costs are available on request and they will be provided to you on your first day of work.

    • You will be eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) retirement plan the first of the month following your first 30 days from your employment start date. While no guarantee, the Company in the past has matched between 20% and 30% of the employee’s contributions into the plan. At other times the match has been less. A summary of the plan will be provided to you when you begin.

    • Vacation Policy: 1 - 7 years continuous service = .833 day per each completed month of service up to a maximum of 10 days per calendar year

    • Holidays: The Company observes ten (10) paid holidays for employees.

    • Sick Time/PTO: After 90 days of continuous employment, a full time employee will begin to accrue sick pay at the rate of 3.33 hours for each full calendar month of continuous service to a maximum of five (5) days each calendar year.
