THE ROLE SAP’s SuccessFactors People Analytics solution is considered the best practice solution for Workforce Analytics (WFA) and Workforce Planning (WFP) and HR Reporting practitioners globally. Our WFA processes extract “Data” from customer’s HRIS systems and we transform it into Workforce “Information” - Management Reports, Planning Forecasts, Benchmarks and a powerful self-service Analytics Platform – this provides our users with the ability to gain business insights and drive impact in their organizations. Our reporting solutions include SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) technology included as part of the SAP SuccessFactors suite and our WFA solution also has options to extend this capacity beyond HR into Enterprise Analytics.

Workforce Analytics and Reporting consultants are responsible for the technical delivery of:

• Our end-to-end WFA and WFP solutions, the data factory engine behind our Analytics and Planning products, which includes extraction, staging, building our data warehouse, OLAP cubes and automated publishing of information through our cloud applications
• Premium Reporting and Report Story creation across full suite of SAP SuccessFactors modules
• Internal and 3rd Party Data Integration into and out of the SAP SuccessFactors Analytics and Reporting solutions

RELEVANT PRIOR EXPERIENCE WILL BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION BUT IS NOT ESSENTIAL AS THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE PROVIDED WITH COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Data analysis
• Data modeling and preparing datasets
• Implementation and testing of change requests to the Analytics solution
• Development of premium reports of varying complexity
• Preparation and updating of technical requirements and specifications
• Generating ad hoc SQL queries for verification purposes
• Use of MDX for multidimensional queries and measures
• Use of APIs and web services – including the SAP SuccessFactors API
• Design and implementation of data integrations using our cloud-based middleware platform
• Develop SAP Analytics Cloud stories canvas
• Build analytic and planning model visualizations
• Configuration of live data and import data connections and date acquisition in Sap Analytics Cloud environment using generic services and custom OData source types
• Develop and implement testing scenarios
• Deliver successful projects and positive customer outcomes

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Recent graduate of an accredited university with a degree in a relevant STEM field including: Software Engineering, Database, Programming, Information Systems, Report Building, Mathematics or other related field.
• Enthusiasm for innovative technologies, and the use of technology to improve business processes and insight
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge on basic Database concepts
• Knowledge of data modelling and preparing data sets, merging, custom calculations, formatting values dimensions and measures
• Versed in data visualization and their usage charts and tables
• Detail oriented and methodical with excellent time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and multiple deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in SQL or JAVA is a plus
• Knowledge in predictive capabilities, augmented analytics, Smart Assist, Smart Predict are a plus
