DEMO SOLUTIONS

Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the SAP product demonstration landscape and demonstration portfolio for a solution and/or industry area.  Partner with Presales in the development of product demonstration content to support sales cycles functioning primarily in a technical, non-client- facing capacity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

Understand technical specifications and contribute to the demo content delivery process. Execute assigned tasks and demo projects such as standard content projects, demo build requests. Tasks include: coding, testing, documentation, and support  Actively participate in calls with customers (Solution Advisors/ Demo Architects) to understand the requirements and related business processes and Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy. Exhibit agility and flexibility to meet business needs. Communicate relevant messages in a timely manner and with constructive feedback within the team. Coach and mentor junior members of the team Implement best practices in the responsibility area. Demonstrate innovative approaches to increase own productivity. Develop collaborative work relationships. Support initial set-up, concept and implementation of SAP Solutions and for building up a reliable, scalable, robust, and fully integrated Demo Landscape Infrastructure as the basis for all demo build activities. Support system administration and system lifecycle management (e.g. upgrades). She/he manages system performance and quality and safeguards the sustainability of the demo environments May work with IT provider to coordinate technical system setup and acts as a single point of contact. Quantitative Key Success Factors: Revenue Margin Win Rate Qualitative Key Success Factors: Implement world-class, innovative demonstrations which serve as a competitive differentiator in the sales cycle. Ensures high quality and high-performance demo environments, and defines landscape/systems operational rules and guidelines. Prepare quality documentation, potentially including videos, of custom-built demonstration scenarios which can become part of a centralized demo database. Facilitate reusability of demonstration scenarios, including an offline and/or video option. Accurately document each demo build. Contribute ideas and thought leadership on how product and demo scenarios are developed and shared. Showcase best-practice demo techniques and scenarios. Integrate best practices in demo scripts, technology, scenarios, reusability documentation.  Identify new scenarios or custom builds.  Build and provide quality Infrastructure and demo support of key marketing events, including TechEd, Sapphire, Field Kick-of Meeting (FKOM), and other local events, etc. Customer/Partner Interactions External: Partner Vendor Internal: Product Development Presales Sales Account Executive Marketing IT Provider MOBILITY Minimal travel required ~ 15%
