THE OPPORTUNITY

As a DevOps Engineer at Xactly Corporation, you will work in the mysterious field of production operations where the intersection of software development, software deployment, data centers, cloud infrastructure, and customers meet. You will work on one or more of the following projects, web based development to support self-service portal, employ data science techniques to gain insight on production systems (performance and usage,) and/or using cloud based APIs to automate infrastructure changes.

THE SKILL SET:

• Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Must have programming experience with Python (Pandas and other python data science tools, a plus but not required)
• Familiarity with web based programming (Python Flask a plus, but not required)
• Familiarity with Linux based Operating Systems

BY THE END OF YOUR INTERNSHIP, YOU'LL:

• Understand the inner workings of a SaaS company from development processes to production deployment from an engineering perspective
• Gain experience in developing software that supports large production deployments
• Discover how to measure performance in a large production environment
