The Snowflake Education Services team plays a crucial role in the mission of providing top-notch educational resources and training. As part of Snowflake’s commitment to empower the next generation of data and AI professionals, we offer an education program for university students and professors with a wide range of learning resources.

We are looking for a data science or machine learning student who is skilled in Python programming, presentation and communication skills to assist in creating, curating, and presenting technical assets (tutorials, code-labs, presentations, and workshops) aimed at university students and professors. This role will create/curate and deliver Snowflake AI contents and drive awareness among academic students and developers on university campus and AI clubs. While the candidate will be mentored in technical content development and presentation, given the potential remote nature of this position, it's essential that the candidate be able to work independently, seek guidance proactively, manage tasks and timeline appropriately.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university program during the time of the internship Desired Class Level: Junior Desired majors: Data Science, Machine Learning
• Required coursework: Python Programming, AI/Machine Learning Concepts
• Recommended coursework: Generative AI
• Bonus Experience: Students who have been involved in university student AI/ML clubs. Have done projects featuring AI/ML, Streamlit. Have created technical tutorials, code-labs, blogs; or created symposium posters for data science projects. Publishing experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills. Programming skills: Python, some SQL

POSSIBLE TEAMS/WORK FOCUS AREAS:

• Assist in creating or curating and presenting tutorials and code-labs that aim to teach machine learning and generative AI basics using Snowflake and Python.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

• The estimated pay range for this role is $28-$32 per hour.

The successful candidate’s starting hourly rate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
