Build the future of data. Join the Snowflake team.

There is only one Data Cloud. Snowflake’s founders started from scratch and designed a data platform built for the cloud that is effective, affordable, and accessible to all data users. But it didn’t stop there. They engineered Snowflake to power the Data Cloud, where thousands of organizations unlock the value of their data with near-unlimited scale, concurrency, and performance. This is our vision: a world with endless insights to tackle the challenges and opportunities of today and reveal the possibilities of tomorrow.

We’re looking for dedicated students who share our passion for ground-breaking technology and want to create a lasting future for you and Snowflake. The FCTO Industry Solution Team at Snowflake is looking for a creative summer intern with a growth mindset to join our team. You’ll develop real-world experience and play a key role in developing our team’s visual identity. You’ll develop creative concepts, design and produce collateral, and grow your technical skill set.

You’ll be the one to take our technical assets and make them shine via Streamlit and digital decks, briefs, Quick Starts, videos and more. In this role, you will gain project-based experience, participate in networking events with your fellow interns, and collaborate on important initiatives that directly impact the company. Interns will also have the opportunity to attend exclusive talks with Snowflake leaders and mentors, who will give advice and share the lessons they’ve learned over the course of their careers. All we ask in return is that you throw your energy into your work and help us design, create innovative products, and help us launch our solutions out to our customers.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Familiarize yourself with our solution catalog and standard assets (code repository, Streamlit apps, Quick starts, seismic page, webpages and digital decks)
    • Produce work that encompasses the distinctive look and feel of the Snowflake identity while developing a unique team brand for the Industry Solution Team
    • Design application UI, illustrations, animated graphics, videos, digital presentations, Quick Starts, and other talent needed for our solution catalog
    • Take creative direction based on feedback and execute various tasks with precision

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:

    • Solid grasp of visual storytelling through the use of Powerpoint and Google Slides.
    • Ensure projects are completed with great attention to detail and on schedule
    • Strong collaboration and organizational skills
    • Experience juggling multiple projects and prioritizing tasks while providing status updates and adhering to deadlines
    • Desire to jump in and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Creativity in coming up with new tactics to grab an audience’s attention, deliver a message and make it stick

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Design (graduating in/after Dec 2023)
    • Experienced with Adobe Creative Cloud (Lightroom, XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Sketch, and Canva
    • Technical skills with Python, Markdown or CSS or willingness to learn quickly
    • Have at least one project that demonstrates your brand design capabilities.
    • Strong grasp of design concepts such as typography, color theory, composition, balance, symmetry, and white space.
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
    • Willing to submit to a background investigation, including verification of your employment and criminal history
    • Must be 18 years of age or older

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

    • The estimated pay range for this role is $22 - $29 per hour.

The successful candidate’s starting hourly rate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; flexible spending & health savings account; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.

  • About Us

We deliver the Data Cloud — a global network where thousands of organizations mobilize data with near-unlimited scale, concurrency, and performance. That whole “silo” thing? Gone. Because inside the Data Cloud, organizations unite their siloed data, easily discover and securely share governed data, and execute diverse analytic workloads. Wherever data or users live, Snowflake delivers a single and seamless experience across multiple public clouds. Snowflake’s platform is the engine that powers and provides access to the Data Cloud, creating a solution for data warehousing, data lakes, data engineering, data science, data application development, and data sharing.
