About ConsenSys Solutions Australia:

The Solutions Australia team engages with corporates, governments and non-profits to solve business problems using Ethereum based technologies. Most of these solutions are currently focused on implementing alternative financial infrastructure that is cheaper and more open than traditional infrastructure.

The team is largely based in Sydney and includes experienced engineers, designers, business and technology architects. The team regularly collaborates with the Australian Catalyst team (marketing and ecosystem engagement) and PegaSys team (protocol R&D), as well as other colleagues in APAC and globally.

The Business & Operations Intern would work closely with a Business Lead to help the team analyse and research use cases and business applications, produce documentation and reports, manage events and communications. This could be directly related to a client solution or for internal projects. The candidate will be working on a wide range of blockchain use cases across multiple industries, and develop experience with business analysis, sales and marketing strategy, internal reporting and communications.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to develop analysis and research on blockchain use cases and applications for a
• range of industries, including Financial Services, Retail, Distribution and Logistics,
• Telecommunications;
• Support the team in producing documentation for client pitches and client projects;
• Contribute to the organization of marketing events and sales campaigns;
• Facilitate internal operations such as weekly team meetings, reports and internal
• communications.

Ideal Experience and Skills:

• Positive “can do” attitude, eager to learn and get things done.
• Experience with blockchain projects is not required, but a keen interest in the technology will be sort after. The candidate needs to be prepared to go down the Blockchain rabbithole learning about blockchain use cases and applications.
• The candidate would have basic knowledge and experience with:
  • Business analysis
  • Marketing and communications
  • Reporting
• The candidate must be able to source solutions to problems from the web, internal teams, open source projects and community forums.
• Ideally located in Sydney as that’s where the mentors are located but can be remote in a similar time zone to Sydney.
• Available to work 15 to 40 hours per week during the semester

• Previous experience working on blockchain projects
• Proficiency with the following productivity tools is a bonus:
