Konquer is a networking platform for athletes. It connects fighters, managers, promoters, trainers, and fans of combat sports. It is an early stage start-up based in Seattle Washington. Currently, it focuses on boxing, mixed martial arts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and other combat sports.

Many competitors struggle to get matched up in competition, both in the amateur and professional ranks. It is common that after months of training, and having invited friends and family to their big fight, you will not be matched up because there was no fighter at the same weight or experience level to face you. In the professional ranks, 90% of fighters will fail to progress in their career because they lack the connections to find fights. This is present in Boxing, mma, muay thai, BJJ, and other combat sports. When it comes to high school, collegiate and professional team sports like football, soccer, and basketball, there is a long list of issues that also need to be solved - not jut in the United States but around the world!

Thus, the focus of Konquer will be to address these problems. In the long-term, Konquer will be for the up-and-coming athlete a place to not only connect within their profession but also a platform to showcase their talent for fans to soak up! Ultimately our brand is for the warriors that risk it all in the ring or in the field or in the dungy gyms. The fans escape their stressed lives and experience an alternative reality, their spirits become one with the warriors, and this is what sports and life is all about!

We are still developing the beta and plan to release it in the summer of 2018. Multi-division world champion, Reggie Johnson is just one of the market advisor. A prototype is available for preview to potential candidates.

Description of Position:

• Primary focus is developing the entire front end of the beta application with React Native
• Build Reusable Code and Libraries for Future Use
• Familiarity with the full stack of web development (back-end, front-end and design and how they interact)
• Optimize Application for Speed and Scalability to Deliver an Exceptional User Experience
• 3+ Years of hands-on Experience with Client Side Application Development
• 1-2 Projects Developed Using React Native
• Collaborate with other team members to Trouble Shoot and Problem Solve

We are looking for a great React Native Developer with experience developing applications in IOS and Android. Experience with websockets and Auth0 is a plus. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, product quality, and craftsmanship is important.
