Who you are:
We are looking for early talent who have solid technical fundamentals, are knowledgeable about GenAI, who are fueled by curiosity and thrive on self-improvement, show the ability to learn quickly, are team players, and want to work for a B2B (Business to Business) software company. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by being part of a community. Our required qualifications for this recruitment cycle includes:
Graduating from a degree or certification program in 2026 and ability to start in July 2026 or January 2027
Education or relevant practical experience in Software Engineering/Development, Data Science (Bachelors, Masters, Community College, or Bootcamps)
No requirement for U.S. work authorization sponsorship, now or in the future. SAP Academy for Product and Engineering currently does not support U.S. work authorization sponsorship at any-point
Ability to work out of Palo Alto and/or San Ramon, CA offices at least 3 days/week (relocation stipend available)
Currently studying or residing in the United States.
Fluent in English: written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
Prior SAP experience
Foundational knowledge and/or hands-on experience with GenAI languages, frameworks, and skills as described in the technical skills below
Involvement and/or leadership in associations or student organizations
Relevant internship or work experience up to 18-months
Tech Skills:
Full Stack Software Engineering Track
Knowledge in general programming languages/libraries: Python, Java, JavaScript, React, SQL
Experience working with APIs, databases, data structures, node.js, Git/GitHub , JIRA
Hands-on experience in designing, testing, and implementing solutions.
Foundational knowledge in LLMs, machine learning algorithms, TensorFlow , PyTorch
Knowledge of concepts to build generative AI applications backed by advanced prompting & RAG technologies and agentic frameworks
Experience with Spring Boot, Docker, Linux, and Go is a plus
Business Skills:
Customer-Centric: Understand customer needs and translate to actionable items
Effective and Proactive Communication: Reaches out proactively, networks, seeks answers, finds new projects
Growth Mindset: Ability to think critically, creatively, and can pivot when necessary

SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 103300 - 175500(USD) CAD.
