You will have the opportunity to learn or be exposed to:

    Learning Opportunities:

    • Monitoring and support processes such as: troubleshooting problems, sharing event correlation data with customers regarding software or hardware, resolving customer technical issues
    • Create technical documentation

    Provide Tier 1 desktop technical support and guidance to end users such as:

    1. Triage support tickets submitted via the Help Desk Ticket System
    2. Software installation and application support
    3. Set up, configure and migrate users to new PCs
    4. Troubleshooting printer issues and resolving difficulties
    5. Perform PC hardware and software upgrades when necessary 6 Record customer and problem information in Ticket system. Update tickets with appropriate journal entries of activities and, upon completion of the job, close tickets with resolution detailed in the system
  • Qualifications
    • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with a curriculum focused on Engineering or Computer Science
    • Strong educational knowledge of the following: Virtualization, Active Directory, endpoint security, LAN, WAN, VPN and IP addressing
