    DESCRIPTION

    The IT Support Administrator intern position is an introduction to the world of IT. This internship will provide frontline exposure to IT services and systems within an enterprise organization. Candidates for the role would be eager to learn, willing to assist other IT Support Administrators and can provide solutions to any tickets as well as assisting with onboarding and offboarding as needed.

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

    This role will work closely with the IT team to provide exceptional frontline support for Seismic's employees in assigned region as well as delivering timely and informed responses and resolutions for all IT issues. The ideal candidate will also need to have an aptitude to learn on the fly and be prepared for issues of all calibers. In addition, the candidate should be able to escalate IT tickets. There will also be opportunities to assist with IT projects in addition to patching security vulnerabilities and working with the IT team to improve overall IT services.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist IT Support Administrators with any tasks related to providing solutions and resolving tier 1 issues within ServiceNow.
    • Have a strong foundation of customer service skills as well as having strong verbal/written communications and effective interpersonal skills
    • Provide assistance with process and governance documentation in SharePoint.
    • Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment and work cross functionally across all departments.
    • Experience with Cloud based enterprise services, such as Office365, Azure Active Directory, and Google Workspace.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office suite usage and troubleshooting

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in a technical discipline
    • Good understanding of SaaS technologies, applications, and infrastructure requirements
    • Operational efficiency mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Innate project management skills - ability to manage and prioritize tasks simultaneously
