WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Join the SAP Innovation Center in Palo Alto, CA in a team focusing on Blockchain technology. You will be part of a technology-focused group that is built to creatively engineer new solutions applying Blockchain to business applications for SAP while working in a startup-like environment and atmosphere.

In this role, you are given the opportunity to build new blockchain applications based on our blockchain platform services.  Your ability to produce quality applications with intuitive user interfaces and strength in combining engineering excellence with a strong interest for the latest technologies make you an ideal fit for this position.

Experience with Blockchain is no must-have, but your ability to explore and understand new technologies will enable you to become an expert quickly. At SAP, we have diversity at heart, so you will also be able to work with the brightest minds from a multitude of cultural and ethnical backgrounds.

WHO YOU ARE:

We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Working on BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
• Advanced development skills in but not limited to GoLang or Java
• A solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, databases, and software design
• Experience in developing for cloud infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, GCP or SAP Cloud Platform
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

Besides that, you can stand out if you have any of these skills:

• Solid understanding of Blockchain technology
• Experience with platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, MultiChain and their protocols
• Knowledge in development of distributed parallel, transactional, or multi-tenant systems
• Understanding of cryptography and digital signature techniques
