PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

The Business Operations Intern acts as a trusted advisor for the Partner Executive Team helping them to ensure opportunities and marketing elements are correctly managed and tracked in various platforms and reporting tools. 

SAP executes a multi-channel and route strategy. This includes direct sales (in collaboration with strategic and service partners), telesales, resellers, and e-commerce channels. Our customers/prospects have the option to use multiple channels (within the different routes offered) and a best-in-class service/buying strategy is a must. SAP Ecosystem and Routes Marketing Job Functions, collaborating with our partners, are responsible for delivering a best-in-class experience accelerating our business growth faster than our competitors.

EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

• Continuously work with the Partner Leadership Team as a point of contact to support opportunities management in platforms and general questions regarding operations
• Interact and align with various teams across the partner organizations
• Provide insightful deep dive analysis of areas for performance and business recommendations
• Execute several performance analysis per Partner Type, Line of Business, Sales Teams, Innovation areas, etc.
• Develop strategic operations projects on the agenda of the Partner Leadership Team

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• In pursuit of bachelor's degree or equivalent required in business area or relevant courses

• Profound knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Interest in data analytics 
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work on own initiative as part of an larger team and capable of working independently upon receiving proper instruction and guidance
• Detail-oriented and analytical
• Good interpersonal communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
