  • Responsibilities

    Creation and execution of internal employee communications campaigns that promote the purpose, beliefs, and principles of the Global Services Delivery (GSD) organization. Works directly with the Change Management & Communications office. The Communications and Marketing Intern will work with different levels and staff throughout the organization to drive employee awareness and engagement by promoting the key objectives of the organization through relevant, consistent and timely communication and interaction. This position will also be the primary supporting content research and creation for communications on the GSD Jam site and internal communication project support.

    EXPECTATIONS & TASKS

    • Work with the Global Services Delivery Change Management and Communications office with various project managers to deliver communications that focus on employee engagement, change management, learning & development and more
    • Channel your inner journalist by creating compelling and effective articles and stories to showcase the accomplishments of the various teams within Global Services Delivery
    • Generate content for Global Services Delivery internal collaboration portal, SAP Jam
    • Support communications needs (i.e. All-hands Meetings, managers meetings) by creating marketing materials, meeting content, coordination of post-call content
    • Other communication/administration duties/projects as assigned

  • Qualifications

    SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

    • Excellent communication skills including:
      • Fluent in both oral and written English
      • Business writing skills aimed at employees
      • Knowledgeable about graphic design and has experience with Adobe Illustrator or similar. Photoshop, InDesign and Premier experience is a strong asset
      • Understands how to message across different lines of business and cultural boundaries
      • Able to turn ideas and concepts into visually relevant and effective collateral
      • Understand and can implement change management/communications initiatives
      • Excellent Word and PowerPoint skills. Basic Excel skills
    • Ability to interact with and influence others through written and oral communication. Welcoming of feedback and suggestions
    • Must be able to keep confidences with private and/or confidential information
    • Organized, detail-oriented and can manage time effectively with top-notch prioritization skills
    • Video creation, editing and production are definite assets

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be graduating from an undergraduate or graduate program and available to work 40 hours per week – Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or English.
